For the 2019/20 season a new Lincolnshire Hockey League has been created. This involves 6 local teams: Louth, Horncastle, Alford, Grimsby, Lincoln and Brigg. The league involves 2 age groups, u11 and u13, into which we have entered both a girls and a boys team.

We have therefore decided to change our coaching structure in accordance with these new league age groups and to accommodate the growing number of children. Coaching will remain on Wednesday evenings but with new times as below:

U9 mixed: starting 4th September 6-7pm
U11 girls: starting 4th September 6-7pm
U11 boys: starting 4th September 6-7pm
U11/13 Goal Keepers: starting 4th September 6-7pm
U13 girls: starting 4th September 7-8pm
U13 boys: starting 4th September 7-8pm

Training for older children will be as last year:
U16 girls: starting Monday 5th August, 7-8.30pm
U16 boys: tbc

Please note an u16 girls’ team has been entered into the Yorkshire Hockey League. Fixture dates will be confirmed at the beginning of September.

COLTS MEMBERSHIP 2019/20
This season we are looking to manage all memberships via the website and payment facilities will be added shortly. On registering you should be able to add your children and their details, before heading over to the shop pages to purchase the appropriate membership package. This should hopefully remove then need for us to store paper copies of registration forms as everything will be stored securely within pitchero.

The club committee have agreed the following new membership packages for the 2019/20 season:

CHILD 16 years and under = £80 (as before) reducing to £65 if paid by end October

CHILD FAMILY MEMBERSHIP = £80 for the first child, £60 for the second child and £40 for any additional children (as before) reducing to £65, £45 and £25 respectively if paid by end October

ADULT FAMILY MEMBERSHIP = £195.00 for 1 adult and 2 children, with any additional children at £40 each, reducing to £180 and £25 respectively I f paid by end October

Match Fees: £6 per match (as before)

The first match for the u11’s is on 22.09.19, for the u13’s on 29.09.19. Therefore, to ensure that your child is available for selection and fully insured for these matches could you please pay prior to these dates.

Following guidelines from England Hockey, this year we are stipulating that any players who have not paid membership by 31st October will be unable to train. Playing in the early matches will be solely at your own risk if membership has not been paid for your child.

For those new to the club, the above deadline does not apply as we offer a free one-month trial. It will be extended accordingly. For all those that have played last season and who would like to play in our early games this season, please ensure your membership fee is paid as soon as possible. Prompt payment makes the running of the club so much easier - thank you.
